Synopsis

One man’s treasure is another ghost’s unfinished business. 
When local fortune hunter Delly Harper takes a fatal nosedive off a cliff, everyone in Mooselick River calls it an accident. Everyone except Delly—who’s now haunting Everly Dupree with a list of suspicions and one very big request. 
Turns out Delly named Everly’s dad executor of his estate: a crumbling farmhouse, a chunk of overgrown land, and a rumor about buried gold that’s been circling town for decades. While her dad dives headfirst into treasure-hunting mode, Everly’s stuck trying to figure out who wanted Delly dead—and why. 
Then another body turns up, and this one is definitely no accident. 
As Everly follows a trail of secrets through old rivalries, family feuds, and long-forgotten scandals, she starts to realize this isn’t just about gold—it’s about payback. And someone in town will do anything to keep the past buried. 
Good thing Everly has a shovel.
