Everly Dupree has handled her fair share of ghostly encounters, but this one takes the dog biscuit. 
She had no intention of getting involved in Mooselick River’s annual town-wide yard sale, but saying no to Martha Tipton is like trying to wrestle a cat into a bathtub. 
One minute, Everly's sorting through attic junk and dodging cutthroat bargain hunters—the next, an oversized chocolate lab comes barreling toward her at full speed. And drags her straight to a body. 
Buried under a mountain of shredded paperwork at the recycling center, Everly’s overbearing, micromanaging boss, Spencer Charles, is very dead. Unfortunately for her, his ghost shows up before the cops do. 
Spencer is just as nitpicky and demanding in death as he was in life and seems to think Everly is his own personal psychic detective. He’s convinced he was murdered and—you guessed it—won’t stop haunting her until she proves it. 
In a town where everyone talks, only one witness can sniff out the truth… and she has four paws.
