Synopsis

Can true love come from a one-night stand? I was naive enough to believe it could.
But the truth is that Jacob is leading a double life. He was just taking advantage of me, and now I'm expecting his child… 
Some people have everything: a husband, a family, a great career, a big house.
I have none of that.
Frustrated and lonely, I dive into the nightlife and meet the mysterious Jacob, who seduces me over a game of poker. There's a sizzle between us, and the evening ends in his hotel suite...
Then, we run into each other by chance on the streets of New York. Jacob turns out to be a wealthy businessman. He seems genuinely interested in me. He makes me an offer I can't refuse.
But appearances can be deceiving…
Then I find out that Jacob is not the man he claims to be. Is he leading a double life? Is he a criminal? Has he just used me for his own purposes? And why does my best friend's husband seem to be involved?
I'm just about to tell my friend everything, when I realize my period is overdue…
