Synopsis

The story delves into the deep-rooted human psychology of associating one's general well-being with certain self-fulfilling beliefs that defies every rational consideration. This condition often manifests in patients undergoing medical rehabilitation, much to the despair of the attending medical supervisors. Attending supervisors in such situations oft take recourse to deceptive interventions that break such irrational biases to revive healthy confidence in patients and thus bring about a noticeable improvement in the physical and mental parameters of the suffering individuals.
