Synopsis

The story attempts a funny pot-shot at the polarization of two diametrically opposing political philosophies, namely, socialism and capitalism. The narrative of the plot, built around a humorous discord between these two seeming mutually exclusive but equally susceptible political tenets, is manifested in a verbal duel where each proponent lays bare the demerits of the opposing system.  
The icing on the cake is the witty social contextualization of the plot by the legendary humorist - Rajshekhar Basu alias Parashuram or Parashurama or Parshuram, which helps expose the vulnerability and scope of corruption under either system with a tongue-in-cheek commentary suggesting possible atonement only under divine intervention in a purported afterlife. Wickedly funny dissection of our existential confusion regards our political consciousness; the story is food for thought for self-reflection in steering our life’s priorities.
