In a galaxy teetering on the brink of chaos, scavenger Kael Armitage stumbles upon an ancient shard—a fragment of The Veil, a mysterious artifact tied to humanity's forgotten past. When he touches it, Kael awakens visions of civilizations lost to time and becomes the unwilling key to unraveling the secrets of an entity older than existence itself. 
As the Dominion—a ruthless interstellar empire—hunts him relentlessly, Kael bands together with a ragtag team of rebels, scientists, and rogue agents, each driven by their own motives. Together, they uncover fragments of humanity's role in creating The Veil and face the emergence of ancient guardians sworn to protect—or destroy—it. 
But as Kael channels the shard's immense power to survive, he begins to lose himself to its influence. Torn between his humanity and the whispers of an alien consciousness, Kael must decide whether to embrace the shards' potential or resist the destiny thrust upon him. 
With reality unraveling and the galaxy descending into shadow, the team races against time to prevent—or control—the convergence that could reshape existence itself. But every choice comes at a cost, and the line between savior and destroyer grows perilously thin.
