Synopsis

Bagpuss, dear Bagpuss, old fat furry cat-puss, wake up, wake up and look at this thing that I bring...Bagpuss, created by Oliver Postgate and Peter Firmin, is no ordinary shop cat. Every time Emily brings something to Bagpuss, something magical happens. Bagpuss, the saggy, lovable cat, lives in a shop where forgotten things come to life. Along with his clever friends—Professor Yaffle, Madeleine, Gabriel, and a group of playful mice—Bagpuss explores the stories behind the items Emily finds. Through music, stories, and a bit of mischief, they make the shop a place where the ordinary becomes extraordinary.Emily brings in a small owl figurine from Athens. Bagpuss and his friends quickly get to work! Professor Yaffle dives into Greek mythology, talking about how owls are symbols of wisdom. Madeleine and Gabriel add their magical songs, while the lively mice create their own silly version of the owl's story. As always, the team turns this forgotten object into something special, teaching us all about the wisdom of owls in a fun, imaginative way.
