Sinopsis

This is an amazing story—and, by design, it is almost entirely unknown. As we begin to grapple with what the Afghan War meant—in books and in film AND in the ongoing governmental hearings regarding the evacuation—journalist and historian Paul Kix is setting out to write the book that begins to make sense of the war that was our country’s response to 9/11, the event that defined the lives of a generation.
