Synopsis

🥧 The county fair in the small town of Sugar Ridge is famous for its baking competition, and this year, the rivalry between veteran baker Granny Mae and newcomer Chloe is hotter than a preheated oven. But when the arrogant judge, known for his brutally honest critiques, collapses after tasting Granny Mae's signature peach pie, the festive atmosphere curdles. The cause of death is a rare, undetectable poison, and the prime suspect is Granny Mae herself. Convinced her grandmother is being framed, Chloe dons her detective's apron to find the real culprit. With help from her mischievous goat, Butterscotch, and a dishy food scientist who's sweet on her, Chloe uncovers a recipe for disaster. From sabotaged ingredients and stolen family recipes to a secret affair and a decades-old grudge over a stolen blue ribbon, the fairgrounds are filled with more secrets than a pie has crumbs. Can Chloe find the killer before the fair closes and the culprit skips town, or will she be the next one to get baked?
