Although Tarin's long-term relationship ended recently, he still decides to go on the long-planned camping trip with his ex. Since the relationship had been comfortable but nothing earthshaking, they both enjoyed camping, and they'd moved back to just friends easily enough, there was no reason not to.
But when he wakes up after an argument about sharing a bed, he finds his ex gone -- with the car -- leaving him miles from the nearest bus route back to Auckland and only his two feet to get him there. Despite detailed instructions from his hostess, Tarin gets lost on the unsigned, unpaved roads.
With the approaching night shrouded in a thick, creepy mist, Tarin can't believe his luck when he stumbles upon a nameless hamlet. But are the friendly, gorgeous men who live there his saviours or his downfall?

I assumed the worst I’d have to endure at a boring birthday party was cheap champagne and dull conversation. Murder never crossed my mind.
After three months of struggling to fit into the small town of Rainy Dale, Texas, Maxwell Thornton is once again thrown into the middle of a murder investigation. While attending Mayor Penelope Granger’s birthday party, he and Royce are witnesses to the cold blooded murder of her father.
Seeing as he’s sheriff, Royce has no choice but to get involved in solving the murder, but he’d prefer Maxwell stay at a safe distance. Maxwell would prefer that too, but when an attempt is made on his life, he’s unwillingly sucked into the case.
When Maxwell moved to Rainy Dale, he’d hoped for a new beginning. But after two attempts on his life, and his unnerving emotional attachment to Royce, more and more Maxwell wonders if staying in Rainy Dale is the logical choice. Perhaps it’s time to run back to Los Angeles, where he can keep his body, and his heart, safe.

The Faker Rulebook: A perfect guide to a successful fake relationship with your straight best friend.

Noah: Rook Oliveira stumbled into my life when I was eleven years old. Being the scrawny new kid at school with a mouth full of braces, I never expected to become unlikely best friends with the most popular boy in seventh grade.

At eighteen, I gathered the courage to tell him I was gay and admitted I'd never kissed a guy. He offered to be my first. Straight or not, that kiss had burned with nearly tangible fire and tattooed the moment on my heart. I've spent the last four years trying to forget it.

Now we're seniors in college, and I've learned why secret relationships are a bad idea.

My brother is getting married, and my cheating ex is the best man. Honestly, Rook is more upset about it than I am. He comes up with this crazy plan to be my fake boyfriend for the week of the wedding.

If we're doing this, then we need to set some rules. Between fake kisses and sharing a bed, things could get messy. Because I'm in love with my best friend—and he has no idea. The rules are simple. I never expected Rook to be the one that started breaking them.

The straight rich jock would never date his family's gay hired help, right?Colton: Crushing on the town's star football player is a bad idea for a few reasons. One, Logan's straight. And has a girlfriend. That alone makes anything between us impossible. Two, living in the guesthouse with my family on his parents' estate, I'm really just the unnoticed lawn guy. Our social status difference is night and day. Those reasons are now irrelevant, because I'm determined to get over this pointless infatuation I've harbored for Logan Kelley for years. He's more of a jerk than I realized.Logan: There are three things people know about me. I'm a Saints tight end. My bank account stays fat with cash. I have a girlfriend, Jules. What they don't know is that I'm gay, and Jules is actually my childhood best friend who's been doing me a solid in a mutually beneficial arrangement.Colton Lockhart has been the one person I've wanted, but he doesn't know that. When I come home for a week during the summer, I'm ready to tell him and have it all planned out. Except I immediately blow my shot with him. It's safe to say that although years of playing on the field have made me a seasoned athlete, in relationships . . . Well, I have zero experience in dating. Or anything else for that matter.I hope he'll chalk it up to a rookie mistake and give me another chance.

Eli is a young farmer, unhappy with the lifestyle and with his borderline abusive father. He's an animal lover and would rather hug one than kill it, but killing a pig is exactly what his father wants him to do. Eli refuses and runs away, not really having a destination in mind.
He ends up in the mysterious woods feared by locals, feeling reckless and really not caring about his fate. There he runs into a bizarre young man named Jin, who lives in the forest amongst the magical creatures there. He's scantily clad and gorgeous, and Eli is instantly more attracted to him than he's ever been to anyone. So when Jin offers him a place to stay, he's quick to accept.
But the creatures of the forest are as outraged as Eli at the killing of livestock, and chaos ensues. Jin is determined to use the commotion to take things to the next level with the innocent Eli.
