Perhaps it should also not be surprising that the themes found in contemporary conspiracy theories are often echoed in ancient conspiracy theories. While some people still insist that Lyndon B. Johnson was in on John F. Kennedy’s assassination, it was speculated across the ancient world that the young Macedonian king, Alexander the Great, conspired to have his own father, Philip II of Macedon, assassinated. Likewise, the New Age beliefs that Mesoamerican ruins in Mexico were somehow tied to extraterrestrials find common cause with people who believe the ancient Indus Valley site at Mohenjo-daro was destroyed by a nuclear weapon. And through it all, the lack of surviving documentary evidence about much of antiquity has allowed for all of the unknowns to become highly speculative sources of debate. For example, did Caesar’s men burn the Library of Alexandria in the 1st century B.C., or was it destroyed later, if at all? Some people even suggest that the Library of Alexandria, whose ruins have never been located, never existed at all.
Few eras are easier to let the imagination run wild than the Middle Ages, which have often been coined the Dark Ages based on a perceived lack of progress and information. In some respects, that is not completely unfounded because less is known about that historical period compared to the eras that came after it. In addition, it was a period marked by a great number of deaths caused by plague epidemics, crusades, and inquisitorial persecutions. Often, researchers are not even sure how and why certain events happened, and these mysteries still occupy the attention of historians.
At the same time, some historical mysteries about the era may never be solved, if only because the relevant excavated material has been lost or the archaeological site has been destroyed. Of course, the lack of answers only makes these enigmas more intriguing.

    The Great Reset - Conversations...

You did not stumble upon this book by accident. I promise you that — take my word for it. This is not a meditation manual, but rather a powerful realization of who you are, intended to trigger your spiritual awakening.
Whatever algorithm surfaced it, whatever recommendation led you here, whatever impulse made you press play — that impulse did not come from nowhere. Something in you recognized the title before your mind could explain why. Something in you has been waiting for this, possibly for a very long time.
What you have found is an unpolished diamond buried in a catalogue of millions — not because it was deliberately hidden, but because what it contains does not fit neatly into any category the marketplace knows how to sell. It is not religion. It is not science fiction. And it is not the usual spiritual fluff about chakras, raised vibrations, and decorative enlightenment.
It is a first-person account of what happens when an ordinary modern man enters a transcendental state, sees behind the walls of ordinary reality, and comes back to tell you what he found there.
My name is Marcus Riauka. And across nine episodes, I am going to dismantle everything you thought you knew about who you are, what this place is, and why you are here. Not gently.
I am going to tell you that the character you have been playing your entire life — the one with your name, your face, your history — is a role you never auditioned for. That the ancient depictions of allegorical gods and metaphoric deities were never primitive superstition — they were engineering disguised as devotion. And that creation itself, when seen from the other side, reveals itself as mathematical computation operating at an unimaginable scale of complexity.

The Lives of the Queens of England is a multi-volumed work attributed to Agnes Strickland, though it was mostly researched and written by her sister Elisabeth. These volumes give biographies of the queens of England from the Norman Conquest in 1066. Although by today's standards, it is not seen as a very scholarly work, the Stricklands used many sources that had not been used before.Volume six includes the biography of Elizabeth I through the year 1586.(Introduction by Ann Boulais)
