International wine consultant Sarah McKee just got back from a whirlwind European tour, where she tasted more rare wines than most of us can name. But her homecoming in Sonoma has a corkscrew twist: her elderly friend Landon Harris has met an untimely end. Heart attack? Sarah isn’t buying it. Landon had been calling her nonstop while she was in Europe, practically begging her to help him find… something. And now he’s suddenly gone to the big vineyard in the sky? 
Sarah smells something suspicious—spoiler alert: it’s not the charcuterie plate. When she starts poking around, Landon’s son, the suave but shady Jean-Paul, tells her to back off, and Landon’s loyal assistant is shown the door. Things only get darker from there: an inquest confirms that Landon’s exit was a little more “who dunnit” than “natural causes.” 
Who could’ve done Landon in—and why? Sarah, of course, won’t let this mystery breathe. Armed with her wine expertise, she teams up with a ridiculously handsome sheriff named Steven Bradley, her best friend Kelley, a trusty bartender named Zach Sullivan, and a cast of quirky Sonoma characters who are as unpredictable as the town’s wine pairings. Together, they start to unravel a juicy web of deceit, greed, and a long-buried secret hidden in an old ghost winery that’s got more skeletons than wine barrels. 
Now, all Sarah has to do is find Landon’s missing heir before the killer strikes again. But will she and her friends solve the mystery before the killer puts a cork in it? Grab a glass and find out—it’s about to get twisted!
