I'm your cookie-cutter villain . . . Or that's the role Christmas Falls has given me. I'm here to help my grandfather fulfill the crazy amount of orders his toy shop is getting. The company I work for would love to take it off his hands. And I want to see Grandpa Nicholas enjoy a few years without having to work so hard. When I arrive, not only is Gramps adamant about keeping the toy shop, but he has already hired an assistant enabler who can't stand the sight of me. Ezra, the real world Santa's Elf, an unbearable bubble of Christmas tradition, a walking, talking cinnamon roll, is as delusional as Grandpa Nick himself.

Suddenly, I'm the villain of this Christmas story. Ezra challenges every smart decision I make and thinks I'm here to steal Christmas from the town's kids. Convincing Grandpa to sell the shop and fighting Ezra at every turn is more than one guy can do alone. But maybe I don't have to. A temporary truce with Ezra quickly turns into a passionate and disastrous wildfire that will melt this winter's snowfall if we don't resist the temptation. We come from different worlds: I have a life waiting for me in New York and Ezra lives and breathes small town charms. We are destined to fall apart, but that's not stopping me from dreaming up ways to keep Ezra with me for another minute. Or hour. Or night.

There is something about the number 3.

The Ancient Greeks believed 3 was the perfect number, and in China 3 has always been a lucky number, and they know a thing or two.

Most religions also have 3 this and 3 that and, of course, in these more modern times, three’s a crowd may be too many, except when it’s a ménage à trois. It seems good things usually come in threes.

Whatever history and culture says WE think 3, a hat-trick of stories, is a great number to explore themes and literary avenues that classic authors were so adept at creating.

    Jax
Penny Fox doesn’t know it yet, but she’s mine.
She’s been mine since the moment our eyes locked across the hall in high school. While she kept her head buried in books, I kept my distance, hiding in the shadows. Waiting. Watching. She has no idea how much of her life I’ve memorized. Every laugh, every sigh, every tear—it’s all burned into my brain.
I followed her to college. She’s my obsession, my purpose. I was going to take my time, ease her into the idea that she belongs to me. But then she showed up at a frat party wearing some tiny little dress, trying to be someone she’s not, and every single plan I had went up in smoke.
She thinks she’s reinventing herself? No. She doesn’t need to. She just needs me.
Penny doesn’t know it yet, but tonight is the last night she’s walking around pretending she’s single. I’ve waited long enough. She’s mine—and I’ll do whatever it takes to make her realize it.
    Penny
    I’m not that girl anymore.
At least, not the girl I used to be—the quiet, shy one who always sat in the back of the class, never spoke up, never stood out.
College is for trying new things, right? So I’m stepping out of my comfort zone. Reinventing myself.
But I should have known I’d get in way over my head.
Jax is over-the-top obsessed with Penny, and he’s going to do whatever it takes to protect her. If insanely jealous, possessive alpha males are your jam, you’re going to love this one.

Her landlord planned to demolish her house. The vampires figured, why not demolish her inside of it?
At least Callie doesn’t have to worry about getting her security deposit back.
Why has Vaughn been in such a rush to kill her? Is he afraid she can persuade the Winter and Summer courts to work together? After all, if the courts don’t unite, the vamps will destroy them all. Shouldn’t that be motivation enough?
    Apparently not.
Callie will just have to persuade them to cooperate anyway.
It will be a bit harder to do that from the dungeon where the Winter Queen promised to toss her.
Has Vaughn finally outwitted them all?
What can Callie do to stop the slaughter?

Vincent O'Sullivan was born on the 28th November 1868 in New York City. He was initially educated through the New York public school system before finishing his studies in England. As a young man he remained in London and travelled often to Paris.
O’Sullivan lived a very comfortable life with income from the family coffee business. He had no real need to work but decided that a literary lifestyle was for him.
In 1896 he released his first volume of supernatural fiction ‘A Book of Bargains’. Within its pages were classic stories that involved pacts with the Devil, reanimated corpses and psychic vampires.
Over the course of his career, he wrote a mere 10 volumes of short stories, novels, poetry together with some occasional criticism.
In 1909 his brother, who ran the company, entered its resources into some terribly mis-timed trades in coffee futures and ruin for both the company and the family quickly followed.
From now until his death O’Sullivan was destitute, life was exceedingly difficult.
Vincent O’Sullivan died on the 18th July 1940 in Paris. He was 71. He was buried in a paupers grave along with the remains of others.
