May 1945. The British Government needs to decide whether to put Rudolph Heβ, Hitler’s deputy, on trial on for war crimes. Heβ flew to Britain in 1941 but no one has been able to work out why he came as he neither sought political asylum nor brought peace proposals.
Holmes is commissioned to carry out the interrogation of Heβ. This proves to be a highly dramatic affair as it reveals not only the totally unexpected reason for Heβ’s flight but also some completely unknown facts about Hitler.
Dr Watson’s papers on this case were only discovered in the summer of 2015 and this is the first time the true story can be told.

The quiet Dutch community of Sleepy Hollow lay in the Adirondack mountains on the western shore of the mighty Hudson River in America’s colonial period. The solitude of the woods was breathtaking, and not even a schoolmaster was immune from the eerie miasma which everyone knew permeated the dense forest. Written in 1820, Washington Irving’s The Legend Of Sleepy Hollow has become a classic of American literature, and has been retold in many different ways. Here is the original, from Irving’s own hand.

Book #1 in the Ania Series!
When half-brothers Mick and Jerzy Sawyer are summoned to their father’s prison deathbed, it isn’t for a tearful goodbye. The spiteful old man tells the two estranged brothers about an old diamond heist with outstanding loot, and sets them on a path of cooperation and competition to recover the jewels.
Jerzy is the quintessential career criminal, fresh out of a short bit and looking to get back into the action right away. Mick is the failed cop and tainted hero struggling to get by with a clean life that doesn’t seem to ever pay off. Both men see this score as their ticket out of Chicago.
Throw in the mysterious, blond Ania, and Blood on Blood is hardboiled Hardy Boys meets Cain and Abel. Jerzy and Mick battle each other for all of it — the diamonds, the girl, and survival — and nothing else matters…not even blood.
