Synopsis

The weaknesses of our sex education have led to the fact that most people, even if they feel a deep sensual attraction, instead of beginning a heartfelt spiritual exploration of each other in the process of intimate interaction and accumulation of sexual energy, instead, close their heart centers and turn the unique opportunity of highly sensual admiration into a trivial sexual act.

Unfortunately, the creators of the lower-astral and dense-material types of Reality benefit greatly from the fact that the prevailing majority of people completely incorrectly and perversely understand the very essence of SEXUAL INTERACTION. Sexual interaction in fact is a spiritual intimate process which, if properly understood, contributes to a stronger contact between a person and his inner Essence and contributes to a more highly-sensual and deeply soulful manifestation of the person.

Love is the real Symbol of the Age of Transfiguration that is coming on Earth! And the mysterious "sacred key" to the Gate of Spiritual Transformation is not somewhere in the cosmic infinity and unfathomable unknown, beyond our psychic capabilities, but in fact is located quite "nearby", or rather, in our own heart center AIGLILLIA, which is filled with the highest vibrations of Love literally towards every manifested aspect of the Life around us, including the strongest of all – the sexual one.

A breakthrough work that gives us a fresh vocabulary to experience an ineffable God.

What if God is not just above us but also beneath and between, alongside and among? What if God comes into us, and is thus within and throughout and around--all while yet beyond? In lush and literary prose, writer Varina Buntin Willse invites us to encounter the omnipresence of God through the lens of the lowliest of all parts of speech: the preposition. The result is nothing short of revelatory.

With echoes of Barbara Brown Taylor and Sue Monk Kidd, Beneath and Between guides readers into a new metaphorical universe, in which our experiences of God transcend the predictable grammars of faith. Hidden right there in plain sight--in scripture, in liturgy, in prayers and poems and writings from various wisdom traditions--dwell little words that offer stunning epiphanies. This book is rich and provocative in the most reverential way, offering more dimensions of the divine than doctrine usually affords. For the contemplative and the confused, for the confident Christian and the heartbroken one, for the skeptic and the seeker, for anyone who feels left behind or excluded from expressions of faith: Find in these incandescent pages an expansive view of God and a companion for your spiritual journey. This is a book to savor.

The Reason of Reason - How...

The self-evident existence of reason, logic, and intelligibility are strong evidence for God. Reason is a human faculty that defines humanness and points to a rational universe. This in turn points to the principle of reason, or the "Logos" developed by Heraclitus and other Greek philosophers, and later by the Apostle John. Reason and its corollaries emerge like aspects of language and complement each other, like speaking and listening. Indeed, mutual communication works because of reciprocity, which is a root form of intelligibility.
This structure or order is best explained by a rational, divine Mind. This is an exploration of the role of the Logos principle in the human experience and condition that we often refer to as Reality. It is an attempt to answer these four questions: Why do reason and logic work? Why do we believe and trust in them? Why do we expect things to make sense? Why does anything make sense at all?
The first part of this book will touch on the relationship between reason and faith, but it is primarily concerned with reason, and logic its foundation. Faith is not the suspension of reason, nor must it be 'blind' to qualify. They are rational complements. Even simple faith has reasons attached to it and involves the use of reason. Faith, in part, is the application of reason to metaphysical questions and propositions. Theists must apply reason when thinking about God (even if He might not actually exist).
In modest terms, He probably does exist. There are ample reasons for near-certainty, especially the existence of reason and logic themselves. Add to these intelligibility, order, reciprocity, and a concept that becomes very prominent toward the end of the book, complementarity. The main argument of this book is: Because reason exists, God exists. It's not that through our powers of reason we can be certain of the existence of God, but rather that the existence of reason and its corollaries point compellingly to God.

Rediscover genuine peace in a fearful world by embracing the countercultural way of Jesus.
We live in a time of panic and of boredom, of frenzy and of lifelessness, all at the same time. Our boredom leads us to seek out what can feel almost like meaning or purpose or at least life: the lighting up of our limbic system through real or manufactured fear and through real or manufactured resentment. The exhaustion after that kind of ongoing adrenal jolt leads to panic and that leads to more boredom, which starts the cycle again. What we need is a way to break the cycle of boredom and panic that comes from our dangerous relationship to control.
Hope Against Hope will help you find your way back to sanity not through seizing control--of the culture or even of your life--but instead by surrendering control through living out the way of Christ. You will discover how torecognize the cyclical nature of panic and boredom and understand how it impacts you, move past modern expectations of a predictable world to embrace reality through genuine faith, andregain a biblical perspective on how true life is found in choosing to follow Jesus into an uncontrollable future.

A panicked or bored Christian, much less a panicked or bored church, looks nothing like the Jesus who took his disciples to the epicenter of panic and calmly invited them to lose control--of their wants, of their futures, of their protection, and even of their lives.  Hope Against Hope will help you embrace the countercultural way of Jesus as you replace fear with genuine peace.
