As much trouble as she makes for him, Vrexus can't ignore her fiery spirit. Even as she fights him at every turn, he finds he craves the touch and taste of her. The more she runs, the more his hunger grows. The more she gives in, the more he's determined to make her his, even if it means going against the queen's orders and compromising his mission. 
 
 
 
Lee knows he could be her ruin, but even she can't stop the fire growing between them. And as far as Vrexus is concerned, no one will take her from him. Not even a queen.
