Zuri Sweeting, a modern-day witch with a quirky and sassy personality, has sworn off love after a painful breakup. She packs her bags and flees from Chicago without a city in mind to move to. She comes across a charming little town called Langston Township, hoping to heal her heart and find peace. However, her plan to avoid love is disrupted when she crosses paths with Leo Monroe, a handsome and charming owner of a local bakery, whose decadent pastries and warm personality begin melting her resolve. As Zuri gets to know the town’s eccentric residents, she finds herself drawn, all while managing her magical abilities in secret.
