Beschreibung

Years have gone by since the death of Noah his special needs son, and Wiley Cantrell realizes it's time to move on. He and his husband Jackson try to adopt little Tony Gorzola, a deaf boy with HIV who is emotionally traumatized.
Difficulties quickly set in. Tony is a sweet boy but very damaged by abuse and neglect. And Tony's mother, in prison, is unwilling to relinquish her parental rights. No sooner do they get the go ahead to foster Tony when another child they had considered becomes available -- the daughter Jackson always wanted.
With two children on their hands, life is complicated -- wonderfully so. But just as things begin to settle down, Tony, his immune system compromised, falls ill with pneumonia ... and Wiley and Jackson find their little family faced with crisis once again.

Sappho is one of the most popular and elusive figures of Greek myth and culture. Although more influential than Shakespeare and literally worshipped as a goddess, little is known about her life outside of the handful of poetry fragments that survived the ravages of time. Over the centuries she has been portrayed as a chaste schoolteacher, a lusty lesbian showgirl, or a lovesick poet who died pining for the handsome fisherman Phaon.
Here Sappho is an asexual woman who experiences the world with love, passion, and joy. The Tenth Muse isn't a loveless goddess but a caring human woman with a life full of love and meaning.
For centuries, Sappho has been condemned for who she loved. But what if the love she held in her heart wasn't physical? If the world's most passionate poet asexual, does that make the love in her heart less real?

Forty-four years ago, a snow storm blew over Devil's Lake in the middle of August, and since then, strange things have been happening at the Misty Mountain Motel.
Now it looks like this is Syd's last assignment with Revealed newspaper. He's had it with covering fake demon possessions and potatoes that may or may not look like Jesus. After years of investigating the paranormal, he's seen the sordid side of humanity and wants out. To make matters worse, this last assignment is a collaboration with some YouTube guy, and everyone knows Syd doesn't work well with others.
YouTuber Rudi Laurier has read every story ever written by the Syd Fost and is looking forward to this three day gig in the Laurentians. Location: The soon to be demolished and supposedly haunted Misty Mountain Motel. This is his chance to work with a real investigator. A sexy one, at that.
A new storm has been gathering over the Misty. There's no way out of the blizzard. Soon both men are trapped together in the empty motel. Trapped in with ... something.
Or is it their own secret fears playing with their minds?
