  Harry Houdini, born Eric Weiss on March 24, 1874, was a legendary magician and escape artist who gained international fame for his daring and death-defying stunts, such as escaping from handcuffs, chains, and locked containers, often submerged underwater. His incredible physical strength, skill at manipulating locks, and next-level charitable acts made him a household name.
