What if an ancient evil, locked away in a family mausoleum, was simply waiting for the wrong person to call its name?

Welcome to Timeless Terrors #215, featuring Count Magnus (1904) by M.R. James, the legendary master of the English ghost story, renowned for his scholarly tone and unmatched ability to summon terrifying, lingering dread.
While researching a travelogue in an isolated Swedish parish, an inquisitive English traveler uncovers the dark, bloody history of a 17th-century nobleman who entered into a sinister pact with something monstrous. But curiosity quickly turns into an inescapable obsession. When the traveler visits the Count's copper sarcophagus, he realizes too late that the three heavy iron padlocks holding it shut are beginning to loosen... one by one.

Narrated by horror author Jonathan Dunne.
