How do you know if God is calling you or not? How can you know? Dr. Thiel gives many scriptures that help you know if God is calling you. Many verses from the Bible are presented to prove that it is only a very small flock that is being called by God during the church age, the age we are now in - John 6: 65 "Therefore I have said to you that no one can come to Me unless it has been granted to him by My Father." Not everyone is being called by God at this time.
Are you one of the elect? Are you one that is being called now? If so, why? Why is God calling you now? What is the purpose of your calling? Dr. Thiel answers this question with another verse from the Bible - 31 even so these also have now been disobedient, that through the mercy shown you they also may obtain mercy. 32 For God has committed them all to disobedience, that He might have mercy on all. (Romans 11:31-32). God is calling you now so that, through you, God might have mercy on all!
What an awesome calling! You, if you accept God's call and overcome until the end, will have the opportunity to help multiple thousands, perhaps millions of others come to God in the age to come - 26 And he who overcomes, and keeps My works until the end, to him I will give power over the nations — (Revelation 2:26).
If you are being called now, Dr. Thiel provides verses that prove you were predestined to be called. But you must accept that calling. The choice is up to you. God won't force you to become part of His family.
If God is calling you, what about the others? Are they lost? No! Dr. Thiel makes plain with many scriptures that God wants to have mercy on all, each in their own order.
He is calling you now to help you develop Godly character. God's character is love. By developing true Godly love you will help make eternity a better place for all.

Marks of a Movement calls us back to the disciple-making mandate of the church through the timeless wisdom of John Wesley and the Methodist movement. With a love for history and a passion for today's church, Winfield helps us reimagine church multiplication in a way that focuses on making and multiplying disciples for the twenty-first century.
Winfield Bevins reminds us of the vital multiplication lessons from the Wesleyan movement, one of the greatest missional movements the world has ever known. He highlights the necessity of discipleship as the starting point and the abiding strategic practice that is key to all lasting missional impact in and through movements. The Methodist movement is an example of the power of multiplying movements that utilize the strategy of discipleship. Within a generation, one in thirty people who were living in Britain had become Methodists, and the movement soon became a worldwide phenomenon.
We in the Western Church need a movement of historic proportions once again. What would such a multiplication movement look like for us today? We must look to the past to gain wisdom for the future. And as we look at the pages of church history, there is no better example of a multiplication movement in the West than the Methodist movement of the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. Marks of a Movement highlights the lessons and key insights that enable us to learn from the past and reapply this timeless, biblical wisdom for today.

Three great nonfiction works from the Nobel Prize–winning, Catholic, French author of Thérèse Desqueyroux.Saint Margaret of CortonaFor François Mauriac, Saint Margaret of Cortona became a source of fascination and solace during the Nazi occupation of France. During that time, feeling himself and all his countrymen to be among the downtrodden, he wrote this biography of the thirteenth-century Italian penitent who would become the patron saint of the homeless . . .Born in 1247 to a farming family in a small village outside Perugia, Margaret of Cortona was willful and reckless in her youth. At age seventeen, she became a wealthy man’s mistress—even bearing his son out of wedlock. But her life of sin ended when she found her lover murdered.Devoting herself to prayer and penance, Margaret eventually joined the Third Order of St. Francis and took a vow of poverty. She established a hospital for the poor and homeless at Cortona. On divine command, she challenged her own bishop for his lavish and warlike lifestyle. Canonized by Pope Benedict XIII in 1728, she became a patron saint of the downtrodden, including the falsely accused, homeless, orphaned, and mentally ill, as well as midwives, penitents, single mothers, reformed prostitutes, and third children.Letters on Art and LiteratureIn this collection of letters, Mauriacshares fascinating insights through correspondence with Albert Camus, Jean Cocteau, and other authors, artists, intellectuals, as well as the readers of his various articles and columns. The letters delve into a variety of topics—from the death of Georges Bernanos to the correspondence between Paul Claudel and Andre Gide, and the Routier youth movement.Proust’s Way The thinking and suffering of the author of Remembrance of Things Past are intimately exposed in these letters to Mauriac.
