Synopsis

Ange and her friends stop in Bordeaux, home to Seren, Sasha, and Helvetica, on routine business. However, they couldn't have chosen a worse time, as the town is under threat by malevolent forces: a power-grabbing noble and a mysterious child who wields dark miracles. Things come to a head when the party’s visit is thrown into chaos by an army of undead fiends! Beset on two fronts, the S-Rank party must fight to defend nobles and townsfolk alike—and the fate of House Bordeaux hangs in the balance.

Steve has kept himself quite busy, being the only builder in the world...
It's a fact. No matter how hard he has tried in the past, the villagers never catch on. So resigned to being the only one with his incredible, if he does say so himself, skill, Steve has settled into retirement from being an adventurer and instead turned to building.
After all, he’s defeated the Ender Dragon, explored sunken ships, and even gone on a mad run through the Nether. There can’t be much left to do, can there?
Even if it is a little bit lonely, being the only builder in the world.
Before long, Steve notices strange happenings around the mighty fortress he calls home. Sheep being let from their pen, blocks where they shouldn’t be, chests missing all of their items.
Steve doesn’t remember building that staircase either, but it had to have been him!
    Hadn’t it?

Since his friend and partner in crime, A. J. Raffles, jumped into the Mediterranean, Bunny Manders has scraped along as best he can. At Raffles's side, he was witness to, and participant in, the most ingenious burglaries the underworld had ever seen. Without him, Bunny is a struggling ex-convict, so down on his luck that he answers an ad seeking a male nurse and companion for a notoriously rude invalid. But when he lights the old man's Sullivan cigarette and sees a perfect smoke ring float into the air, Bunny cries out in delight. Raffles is back, and ready for adventure. In the second installment in E. W. Hornung's crackerjack crime series, England's greatest jewel thief is up to all of his old tricks and many ingenious new ones—none so spectacular as turning Queen Victoria herself into an accomplice.
