Synopsis

Hanna and Alex land themselves in the crosshairs of a dangerous drug cartel when the deadly fentanyl crisis finds its way to the Low Country of South Carolina. 
 
 
 
Acting sheriff, Alex Frank, leads a taskforce of law enforcement agencies to confront a growing scourge of fentanyl overdoses and drug cartel violence. Attorney, Hanna Walsh, offers to help the wife and family of one the cartel drug runners at her peril, and neighbor, Quinn Burke, returns with more drama and chaos surrounding a new boyfriend. 
 
 
 
In a dual narrative, the story of Hanna's ancestor, Mathew Coulter, whose family controlled the liquor trade in the South during Prohibition, continues in the 1930's and long-hidden family secrets and scandals are discovered in a lost manuscript. 
 
 
 
The Hanna and Alex saga continues as our crime-fighting couple faces new danger and suspense in the idyllic setting of Pawleys Island and the South Carolina Low Country.
