Synopsis

Tiberius Novak lost everything in the war against the Celestrion Drift—his family, his honor, his future. Now he’s a War Dog, a mercenary in a powered combat suit, taking contracts he can’t refuse to service debts he’ll never escape. His only true companion is Spark, a small bronze drone that’s been with him longer than anyone and carries more of his past than he’ll ever admit.  
When a mysterious client hires him to extract Dr. Zephyr Myrack, a bioengineer working on humanity’s most dangerous technology, Tiberius expects a high-risk job with a high-reward payout. What he doesn’t expect are the horrors waiting inside Aegis Solutions: adaptive androids grown from human tissue, corporate conspiracies that reach into the highest levels of power, and a betrayal that will force him to confront the man who destroyed his life.  
Armed with his Pit Bull combat suit, a pack of semi-autonomous military drones, and an engineer named Maya Reeves who knows more about keeping him alive than she should, Tiberius must navigate a web of alien technology, corporate warfare, and enemies who wear familiar faces. With the Celestrion Summit approaching, a gathering that will reshape civilization’s future, he faces an impossible choice: walk away and survive, or risk everything to stop the forces that already took everything from him once.
