Synopsis

From incomplete collections of knowledge and varying design approaches to technical knowledge barriers, Kubernetes users face various challenges when developing their own operators. Knowing how to write, deploy, and pack operators makes cluster management automation much easier – and that's what this book is here to teach you.
Beginning with operators and Operator Framework fundamentals, the book delves into how the different components of Operator Framework (such as the Operator SDK, Operator Lifecycle Manager, and OperatorHub.io) are used to build operators. You’ll learn how to write a basic operator, interact with a Kubernetes cluster in code, and distribute that operator to users. As you advance, you’ll be able to develop a sample operator in the Go programming language using Operator SDK tools before running it locally with Operator Lifecycle Manager, and also learn how to package an operator bundle for distribution. The book covers best practices as well as sample applications and case studies based on real-world operators to help you implement the concepts you’ve learned.
By the end of this Kubernetes book, you’ll be able to build and add application-specific operational logic to a Kubernetes cluster, making it easier to automate complex applications and augment the platform.

Have you been confronted with a medical diagnosis that has altered your otherwise comfortable and peaceful life?
Twenty-five years ago, Margaret Weiss, RD , CDCES was happily raising her family in central New Jersey when she was diagnosed with celiac disease. With little support for what was then a relatively unknown condition, she was forced to face her reactions and behaviors as she navigated many, often unpleasant, life changes to accommodate this disease.
    ·      Are you experiencing a range of emotions and behaviors related to your own condition that you’d like to understand better?
    ·      Are you interested in behavioral theories that might help explain and guide your actions as you navigate significant change?
    ·      Are you looking for a way to transform your mindset about your diagnosis with constructive and reliable best practices that are forward-looking and healing?
Drawing on her experience as both a person with celiac disease and as a practicing dietitian, Margaret wrote Eat Your Rice Cakes to explore this journey of change. With humor and pragmatism, she speaks to both patients and providers of healthcare with a combination of personal and professional experiences that illustrate our responses to significant upheaval. Told with humor and insight through her eyes, the book offers an inspirational way for all readers to process life-altering change across a wide range of medical disorders with an ultimate vision of empowerment and compassion.

It all begins and ends with plants. From the chance to live on this planet to the pleasure of listening to the sound of a violin—every story begins with a plant.

We animals account for a paltry 0.3% of the planet's biomass while plants add up to 85%. It is obvious that every story on this planet has a plant as its protagonist. Our world is a green world; Earth is the planet of plants. And when, with just a little training, we are able to look at the world without seeing it solely as humanity's playground, we cannot help but notice the ubiquity of plants. They are everywhere and their stories are inevitably wound up with ours. Not to see this plan, or even worse, to ignore its existence, is one of the most serious threats to the survival of our species.

Neurobiologist Stefano Mancuso is back with a book to tell us about the greenprint of our world. He does it through unforgettable stories starring plants; stories combining an inimitable narrative style and remarkable scientific rigor. From the story of the red spruce that gave Stradivarius the wood for his fourteen violins, to the Kauri tree stump, kept alive for decades by the interconnected root system of nearby trees. From the story of the slipperiness of the banana skin to the plant that solved the "crime of the century," the Lindbergh kidnapping, by way of wooden ladder rungs.

Title 1 - With the world watching the news each day about the infamous COVID-19 Virus, a version of what is more broadly classified as a "Coronavirus," like SARS, it's hard to ignore the facts and the opinions as many economies are being put on hold, stocks are plummeting, businesses are applying for loans, and everyone is encouraged to stay at home.
But what do we know or suspect so far about the beginnings and the nature of the virus? That's something we will inspect at this time. So go ahead and start reading everything I could find about it. I hope this will help you gain greater insights into what's happening.
Title 2 - Being stuck at home can be annoying. I watched as my in-laws were eager to hug our children but didn't, just because they wanted to abide by the rules the president of the United States and many other international leaders have set. Some people say they lost their jobs. Others report being sick of one another, not of the virus. Fortunately, I live in a nice-enough home, but I can't imagine how hard it is for some people who live in a small apartment, like the ones I've seen in Tokyo.
This book shows you some things you should or should not do during the time of being quarantined because of an epidemic or pandemic.
