Occupational therapist Christy Rime (45) left her hometown twenty-seven years ago, but now she’s back for the holidays to cut the final ties. Selling her late father’s house and wrapping up a few loose ends will keep her too busy to focus on regrets—until a new acquaintance begs a favor. Then a chance meeting with her first love sparks doubts about her reasons for staying away. 
Single dad Sven Carlsen (45) has plenty of experience going up on the housetop as a roofer, so playing Santa at the local fundraiser to benefit his disabled daughter is a no-brainer.
