From the mercurial mind of award-winning poet John McCullough comes his darkest and most experimental book to date. Panic Response puts personal and cultural anxiety under the microscope. It is full of things that shimmer, quiver and fizz: plankton glowing at low tide; brain tissue turning to glass; a basketball emerging from the waves, covered in barnacles. These are poems of uncertainty but also of hope, which move beyond the breathlessness of panic towards luminescence and solidarity.

The audiobook of Tim Key's least ambitious project to date. A slim book of the crap he’s been churning out over the past eighteen months.
Poems about men getting stuck in webs, poems about the ancient city of Canterbury, poems about canoodling with a rose.
A prolific sod, he’s selected ninety of his trademark vignettes and packed them off to Emily Juniper for her to fling onto pages and shape into a book.
Discussions ensued about what, if anything, the point of it all was, and a healthy debate as to whether it should be broken up into chapters and, if so, why. All of these discussions are documented in the leftover space around the poems. The result is a splurge of words which very occasionally shine a light on modern times.
It is the third book Tim and Emily have generated together.
    Chapters by Tim Key.
Read by Tim Key with Katy Wix as Emily Juniper.
Produced, recorded and edited by Naomi Parnell.
    Executive producer is Ben Williams.
    Music courtesy of Epidemic Sound.
Original book published by Utter & Press, copyright Tim Key, 2023.

Imagine finding a dusty, water-stained journal in an abandoned subway station before realizing it was written 20 years in the future. No robot maids or air cars, just capital L, “Life,” through X-ray specs, and don’t hold the band-aid ripping or bemused outrage. There are a thousand novels herein. (Buddy Woodward) Time for My Generation to DIE from poet and balladeer E.D. Evans takes no prisoners. Evans uses her sparkling, prickly verse to pluck out mournful, bleak, and violent tableaus. Each of her poems—Ballad or not—Is deserving of a hard-strummed guitar and some harmonica across the bridge. This is distilled country and southwestern, sans redemption, sans chaser.(Sean McCollum) Here we will find necessary truths—Honest evidence of a transformative journey, amusing and disturbing, disarming with a hip, wry wit of personal insight. A reminder of poetry as event, where you will find your lips mouthing the vowels. A nod, and a wink never too far behind, Evans’ artistry holds your hand through the odyssey and the rhyme.(Henry Long) Pssssst! Hey, You, Yes… YOUR Generation (whichever that may be). Are you looking for:Saccharin love sonnets? Maudlin two-line musings? Droning co-opted hip hop lyrics? - You won't find that here. Do you desire:Trite overbaked sentiment? Foolish masturbatory banter? Inscrutable word salad? - You won't find that here. What you WILL find here is an epitaph, of sorts, laced with:Dark humor, Snide observations, Stark realism, Morbid landscapes, Gamblers and junkies & Punks and thugs. An epitaph for MY forgotten generation - Generation Jones - who:Relish obscure banalities, Prefer pencil on paper, Revel in audacious irony and Eschews ‘the good old days’. It’s no longer time for any of these things. It’s simply:… Time for my Generation to Die. E.D. Evans is a lifelong poet. Having spent time in both London and New York during Punk’s original heyday in the late ‘70s and early ‘80s...

    'I'm thirty-six, I'm a comedian, and I'm about to kill my boyfriend.'
A permanently single, professionally neurotic stand-up comedian finally meets his Mr Right – and then does everything wrong.
Is Mr Right quite what he seems? And just how far will the comedian go to get a laugh?
Marcelo Dos Santos's play Feeling Afraid As If Something Terrible Is Going To Happen is a dark and bitingly funny one-man show about vulnerability, intimacy, ego and truth. It premiered in the Roundabout at the 2022 Edinburgh Festival Fringe, produced by Francesca Moody Productions, directed by Matthew Xia, and starring Samuel Barnett.
The critically acclaimed, Fringe First-winning production transferred to the Bush Theatre, London, in November 2023.
