Synopsis

Lumbered with a world-famous hippie artist for a mother, Etheria Goldsmith gravitated to the opposite extreme. As cynical and materialistic as they come, she's pissed off -- to say the least -- when said mother enrolls her on a loopy Goddess Meditation retreat in some ancient mansion in the middle of nowhere.

Things only start to look up when Etheria discovers the participants will be meditating in the nude, since ogling naked females is one of her favorite pastimes. Even better, she finds herself grouped with a Tantric sex expert named Katie Drake.

But Katie is on an undercover mission, digging into the twisted truth behind the meditation retreat. The drama culminates in a string of spooky murders ... and Etheria and Katie find themselves locked in with the murderer!

Artist Daniel Chase moves into the house he inherited from his grandfather -- with the proviso he must live there or lose it. Soon after, he begins to get premonitions that something isn't right. Then he meets Griffin Pryce, a handsome man who lives off the grid. They become friends when Griffin agrees to become the subject for one of Daniel's paintings.

Before that can happen, Daniel's ex Ray arrives, wanting to partner with Daniel to turn the house into a fancy restaurant. When Daniel says no, Ray sends a man to threaten him if he doesn't sign the contract Ray has drawn up. Daniel refuses and things go from bad to worse.

With Griffin's help, can Daniel stop Ray's machinations? As the attraction between Daniel and Griffin grows stronger, will it -- and they -- survive what Ray does next?

When Liam Dolan abruptly left Taylor Robinson to pursue his chosen career as an athletic trainer for a major university, did he behave like a good little boy or did he find himself engaging in even more provocative experiences? A surreptitious encounter with an innocent waiter, or two, and some athletic tape will raise more than just Liam's eyebrow.

The Lamentation of Liam is short follow-up to Savoring the Sauce that answers this question and adds even more spice to Liam's life, and not just to the chicken parmesan ordered in a restaurant.

A kiss to build a dream on.” —Maureen Corrigan, NPR’s Fresh AirFrom the bestselling author of We the Animals, Blackouts mines lost histories—personal and collective.Out in the desert in a place called the Palace, a young man tends to a dying soul, someone he once knew briefly, but who has haunted the edges of his life. Juan Gay—playful raconteur, child lost and found and lost, guardian of the institutionalized—has a project to pass along to this new narrator. It is inspired by a true artifact of a book, Sex Variants: A Study in Homosexual Patterns, which contains stories collected in the early twentieth century from queer subjects by a queer researcher, Jan Gay, whose groundbreaking work was then co-opted by a committee, her name buried. As Juan waits for his end, he and the narrator trade stories—moments of joy and oblivion—and resurrect lost loves, lives, mothers, fathers, minor heroes. The past is with us, beside us, ahead of us; what are we to create from its gaps and erasures?Inspired by Kiss of the Spider Woman, Pedro Páramo, Voodoo Macbeth, the book at its own center and the woman who created it, oral histories, and many more texts, images, and influences, Justin Torres's Blackouts is a work of fiction that sees through the inventions of history and narrative. An extraordinary work of creative imagination, it insists that we look long and steady at the world we have inherited and the world we have made—a world full of ghostly shadows and flashing moments of truth.A Macmillan Audio production from Farrar, Straus and Giroux.

When it comes to regrets, I have none. My life is perfect. I own a bar, work hard, party harder, and smother my niblings in all the love they deserve. I don’t need to settle down, as much as my sister might want me to.
But then Joey Manning walks into my office and leaves me all but begging to give him a job … and wanting to give him so much more.
The self-professed straight man is in my head and while I know that I need to move on from him, my body isn’t getting that message. It doesn’t help that Joey is a grade A flirt who can banter with the best of them.
I’ve never had regrets. Not until Joey Manning.
    Joey
The bills keep piling up and the pressure to get my sisters through college before we’re evicted is always on the back of my mind. Whoever said life was for living, clearly forgot that living’s expensive.
My default mode is stressed AF and working myself to the bone, and there’s only one person who gives me a break from all that.
    Art de Almeida.
    My boss.
The one man I shouldn’t flirt with, but I can’t seem to stop. I want to get under his skin. To leave him panting for me. Which wouldn’t be such a bad thing except that he thinks I’m straight, and I’ve never bothered to correct him.
    I need this job.
But some days I worry that I need Art more.

In early twentieth century England, a good valet can be damned hard to come by -- at least, when one's requirements are quite so specific as Lord Algernon Huffingham's. Algy likes a man with a firm hand. Preferably work-calloused, and applied with vigour to Algy's aristocratic buttocks. He's beginning to despair of ever finding a man who can give him what he needs and still respect him in the morning.
Disgraced footman Robert likes a roll in the hay as much as the next man. Preferably with the next man. But he's more accustomed to following orders than issuing them -- and some of his lordship's requirements are a bit more extreme than he's used to! Robert may be easy on the eye and flexible in his morals, but will he be able to rise to Algy's challenge?
