What Are Your Solutions to Life's Questions?
Here, you will find 365 questions designed to open up your mind to think about yourself and your place in the world in new ways. With these questions, you may come to powerful realizations that will help you to improve yourself, the people around you, and maybe even the world.
Most self-development books present you with solutions to common problems. This can be helpful, but what if those solutions work for most people, but not you? Perhaps what you need is a book of questions to help stimulate you to find useful solutions for your unique situation. Maybe you always had the solutions deep down somewhere inside of you, and you just needed the right questions to help guide you to them.
When you do the work of pursuing your answers to these Questions, you will be rewarded with a breakthrough in understanding your life, your place in the world, and the path that you were destined for. Understand that there is no single right answer, no one perspective that is right, there is only your personal truth that you must reveal to yourself.
Authors Dave Edelstein (A.B., Philosophy from Harvard University) and I. C. Robledo (M.S., Industrial-Organizational Psychology from University of Oklahoma) combine their expertise in philosophy, psychology, and self-development to provide you with questions which were designed to help you help yourself. The authors believe there is enormous potential in seeking the answers within, rather than always seeking them from sources outside of yourself.

The world is a mess and bestselling author and comedian Tara Flynn is raging. Well, sometimes. Mostly she's shocked, bemused, irreverent and wondering where the kindness went. Depends on the week, really. 'Rage-In' is a collection of essays providing a personal look at our modern world. Written in Tara's distinctive voice – conversational, witty and easy to read – we are guided through many of today's major issues, be it Emperor Trump, Brexit, an imaginary bunker for the impending apocalypse, trolls, being a Feminazi, or how pastels are actually THE WORST. With humour and empathy – as well as the occasional bout of rage – Tara Flynn tackles modern life and wonders whether anger is really the best way to survive it.

If you are a survivor of an assault, rape, mugging, stalker, identity theft, home invasion or any other ugliness - there will be ideas in this book that will make you feel safe. One of the most troubling things about crime is that the victim can feel the scars for years and years afterwards. My goal for readers of this book is to help switch you out of the victim mindset and into the survivor mindset. Take back your life. I know you can. You deserve to feel safe at all times!
After dealing with a stalker who tormented me for several years I finally decided enough was enough! I made a vow I would take back my life and that started with my privacy. In 1905 Georgia travelled to Chicago to study painting at the Art Institute of Chicago. In 1907 she enrolled at the Art Students’ League in New York City, where she studied with William Merritt Chase. During her time in New York she became familiar with the 291 Gallery owned by her future husband, photographer Alfred Stieglitz. In 1912, she and her sisters studied at university with Alon Bement, who employed a somewhat revolutionary method in art instruction originally conceived by Arthur Wesley Dow. In Bement’s class, the students did not mechanically copy nature, but instead were taught the principles of design using geometric shapes. They worked at exercises that included dividing a square, working within a circle and placing a rectangle around a drawing, then organising the composition by rearranging, adding or eliminating elements. It sounded dull and to most students it was. But Georgia found that these studies gave art its structure and helped her understand the basics of abstraction. During the 1920s O’Keeffe also produced a huge number of landscapes and botanical studies during annual trips to Lake George. With Stieglitz’s connections in the arts community of New York – from 1923 he organised an O’Keeffe exhibition annually – O’Keeffe’s work received a great deal of attention and commanded high prices. She, however, resented the sexual connotations people attached to her paintings, especially during the 1920s when Freudian theories became a form of what today might be termed “pop psychology”. The legacy she left behind is a unique vision that translates the complexity of nature into simple shapes for us to explore and make our own discoveries. She taught us there is poetry in nature and beauty in geometry. Georgia O’Keeffe’s long lifetime of work shows us new ways to see the world, from her eyes to ours.
