Synopsis

The Bonds of Magic are stronger than death. 
 
 
 
Old enemies seek revenge, and new opponents hunger for Kincaid's power. Knowledge tempts Kincaid to leave his artisan life far from the clutches of magic for a venerable city living in the shadows of its former glory. An ancient cult hides within the folds of religious orders and craves Kincaid's abilities as an archmagi. He is the key to unleashing the bonds of magic. Only his steadfast friends and his abilities as a Chronomancer stand between him and this ruthless organization's goal to redefine the structure of arcane might.
