Synopsis

A successful pilot of twelve years, Joanne Taylor is all about her career and not much else.

However, her difficult childhood has left her without the many life skills needed to create meaningful bonds with people that she encounters in her everyday life. Fortunately, her exceptional beauty makes it extremely easy to find sex whenever she wants it, which is often on her layover flights.

Joanne hates having grown up so fast and missing out on having a normal childhood, but growing up in the slums of Baltimore and having a checked-out mother prevented any chances of that.

She wants a normal life, as well as a normal chance at real love, but her protective barrier is thick, and the last thing she wants to do is to give control over her well-being to just anyone. Especially if it pertains to her heart. But as fate would have it, her past catches up with her in ways that she could have never imagined.

A past filled with fear, hate, control, and a special someone, but will fate also gift her with a chance to finally have a normal life? This steamy story will leave you as creamy as butta and will certainly have you wishing that it never ends.

However, as a part of my short story collection, be prepared for a quick rollercoaster ride of love, despair, hope, desire, steamy sex, and jaw-dropping revelations all wrapped up in less than 6,000 words!

Will the boom in Miami turn into a bust for Biscayne Bay?
Skyrocketing boat sales have made the waters of South Florida increasingly dangerous by turning quiet backwater coves into venues for huge sandbar parties—and not everyone is there for a good time. Along with the fun-seeking crowds comes the worst elements of Miami society. When a boat is found adrift in the national park with the body of a DEA agent aboard, Special Agent Kurt Hunter is caught in the crossfire between the city’s seedy underbelly and the natural habitat he’s sworn to protect.
To solve the murder, Kurt must investigate the in-crowd, only to find the case leads him deep into the sometimes dark history of the park’s out-islands. To make matters worse, he’s once again forced to navigate the political maze of the warring agencies involved.
In Backwater Haven, you’ll find the colorful characters, tropical locations, Florida history, and marine action that readers have come to expect in the Kurt Hunter Mysteries series.

A scoundrel is transformed by the love of an innocent princess in this historical romance by the New York Times–bestselling author of Flowers from the Storm.    Summoned to rule the tiny nation of Oriens, Princess Olympia St. Leger appoints the most celebrated man in England to escort her: recently retired war hero Capt. Sheridan Drake. Easily frightened, she is vastly relieved to have Captain Drake’s help—until she discovers he’s a scoundrel without a drop of honor in his body. In fact, nothing would make her happier than to forget him. Except she cannot seem to get his deep, stirring gaze out of her head . . .   Sheridan has no patience for hero worshipers; war is a game of survival, not gallant deeds. But Olympia, who comes to him with plump cheeks and eyes full of expectation, has money, something of which he is in great need. And though Olympia is impossibly naive, for reasons he can’t fathom, she touches him in some obscure, half-forgotten place, until the thought of losing her becomes even more impossible.   Set in Georgian England, Seize the Fire is another exciting tale from the author of For My Lady’s Heart, whose work has been praised by Julia Quinn as “unfailingly brilliant and beautiful.”

'Rawdon's Roof', is a slight comic piece, relying for its humour on the folly of a man throwing away his chance of happiness because of an unexplained and unlikely vow.
