“I Have Some Questions for You” by Rebecca Makkai follows Bodie Kane, a film teacher who returns to her elite alma mater, Granby School, as a guest lecturer. There, she is confronted by the unresolved murder of her classmate, Thalia Keith, whose death years ago led to the conviction of a fellow student, Omar Evans.
