ABOUT THE ORIGINAL BOOK 
“Thunderhead” by Neal Shusterman is a dystopian novel set in a future where death no longer exists, thanks to advanced technology controlled by an artificial intelligence called the Thunderhead. To manage population control, a group known as the Scythes is responsible for gleaming, or taking lives. The story follows two young Scythes, Rowan and Citra, who navigate the moral complexities of their roles in this system. The novel explores themes of morality, justice, and power, as well as the ethical dilemmas that arise when a society is controlled by both technology and human ambition.
