ABOUT THE ORIGINAL BOOK 
Obsidian, by Jennifer L. Armentrout, is a young adult paranormal romance novel that follows Katy, a book blogger who moves to a small town and encounters her mysterious, and at first, rude neighbors, the twins Daemon and Dee. Katy discovers that they are not human, but are instead beings from another planet known as the Luxen, who have the power to manipulate light. When she is attacked by their enemies, the Arum, she learns that her connection with the Luxen has put her in danger. She must learn to navigate a new world where alien secrets, forbidden love, and dangerous enemies lurk at every turn. The story is filled with suspense, romance, and the struggle to understand the truth about who they are and how to protect themselves.
