Summary

What do you want to believe God for this year? We don't have because we don't ask, according to the Bible (James 4:2-3). This year, I'd like to challenge you to DREAM BIG! Don't be scared to ask God to move mountains in your life that seem insurmountable. I want you to trust God for things that are only possible via supernatural intervention.

God will open doors that only He can open and that no one else can close.
— 3:7 Revelation

Have you set any objectives? "Write the vision and make it plain on tablets," Habakkuk 2:2-3 says, "so that he who reads it may run." Because the vision has yet to come, it will speak at the allotted time, and it will not lie. Wait for it, even if it takes a while; it will come, and it will not take a long time." I understand that we live in a world full of unknowns, yet there is one thing we can all bank on... God remains on the throne, and all things will work together for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28). With that vow, you can stop worrying about the chaos and all the reasons why you think you won't be able to accomplish whatever it is you've wanted to achieve for years. The lies that your adversary will keep whispering in your ear. The enemy seeks to prevent you from realizing your full potential, from getting the things God desires for you, and from fulfilling the destiny God has planned for you. You were born to achieve greatness. Through the power of Jesus Christ, you are meant to live a life of victory. Get down on your knees and begin praying today. Ask God to assist you in recognizing His call on your life and fulfilling your heart's desires.

For nearly 2000 years, virtually every Christian woman wore a headcovering during worship. Today, the practice has nearly disappeared. What happened?
Dale Partridge walks Christians verse by verse through 1 Corinthians 11:2-16 to help them understand the doctrine of headcoverings and how these biblical symbols visually preserve God’s design for men and women.
But more than that, he demonstrates that when these visual symbols are eliminated from the church, society's definitions of men and women are forgotten. Dale argues that by restoring this biblical practice, Christians can uphold God's plan for gender roles and restore order among God’s people.

Jonathan Edwards, often referred to as America’s greatest theologian, lived from 1703-1758, and was used by God in the American Great Awakening. This sermon warmly encourages every person to make the same kind of effort that Ruth made in leaving her people and country to join herself to God and his people in Israel.Edwards used a variety of things to stimulate the unbeliever toward faith and repentance, such as: the goodness of God, the happiness of his people, the misery of turning back as Orpah did, and the earnest desire of God’s people for every hearer to be saved. By these things, the hearer is strongly urged to match Ruth’s resolve: to be steadfast and determined until he also is joined to God and his people. This audiobook is read from Edwards’ original text with only a few minor changes to make it more understandable to the listener.

We aspire to freedom but often resign ourselves to an existence trapped in uneasiness and dread. Is there any way to shed such heaviness and reignite hope for deliverance?

In Traveling Light, Eugene H. Peterson urges us to listen to an expert on freedom, Paul, whose letter to the Galatians reminds us of the realities of life in Christ, freely given to all. Peterson says, "If there is a story of freedom to be told, the story must begin with God. . . . The Bible is not a script for a funeral service, but the record of the proclaimed and witnessed God bringing new life to the dead. Everywhere it is a story of resurrection—life where we expect death."

That lightness of spirit we're shown in Scripture is a gift and challenge. With an open path forward, Peterson calls us to embrace change, exploration, trust, love, and much more. Now with a new study guide, share the work of pursuing real rescue and relief through the abiding wisdom of Peterson.

Exploring the Impact of Christianity throughout History
In our increasingly secular world, many claim that Christianity is oppressive and toxic. Christians are accused of standing on the wrong side of history, failing to accept human dignity, freedom, and progress. Are these accusations valid? Is Christianity actually causing more harm than good in the world?
In this concise booklet, author Sharon James shows that through history and across the globe, true followers of Christ have challenged injustice and abuse, and provided care for the needy. This has had a beneficial and widespread impact on all areas of human life. Without the moral ideals given to us by God, humans would lack the ability and desire to pursue justice, freedom, and compassion altogether. When Christians follow the biblical worldview with integrity and align their actions with their self-giving God, that results in sacrificial service to others.
