It has been two decades since the last milestones in the human resource arena took place, and since then, there have been two major industrial relations reforms: WorkChoices and the Fair Work system. The advent of artificial intelligence and digitisation, social media, and mainstream media influences and the complexities of the employee relations legal framework have arguably taken human resources down a path not realised at the time and, of course, changed the workplaces of today in terms of managing and looking after their people.Let us—businesses, HR professionals, and workforces—work together to create change, promote the value of human relationships, generate, and maintain positivity in the workplace and let the world know we—HR—are business humans and a force to reckon with.
