In any of those cases, "Things To Read Before You Sleep" is my first foray into that challenging minefield called poetry. This book gives life and character to both inanimate objects-such as a simple shoe-and scary subjects, like darkness. The metaphysical world of dreaming, and, of course, what would any book of poetry be without addressing that age-old, soul-encapsulating emotion called...love. It may be less than an hour long, but I hope it's a listening journey that takes you wherever it is you'd like to be and leaves you changed forever.
