Summary

In 1870 a young woman vanished, never to be heard from again. Now in 1982 three total strangers each receive a letter. Barbara Bixby never truly vanished. She's still very much alive after nearly one hundred years, and all she wants is to tell the truth about her life. It's not alwavs been a wonderful life. It's been full of magick murder, and plenty of heartache. But in that life she is gone from timid Barbara Bixby into the terrifying, captivating Wonderful Lady B.
