Will true love thaw the heart of Ice Lord Incognito? Melly: When my grandmother is arrested for poisoning the members of her social club, I hire Monsters, PI to help clear her name. My case is assigned to an ice lord, Elrik, the guy I met a week ago at a wedding and haven't been able to stop thinking about. As we track down clues and discover there's a lot more going on at Grannie's social club than potluck suppers, I start hoping I can thaw this ice lord's heart. But he was recently burned, and he's not sure if he's ready to try again. Can I convince Elrik to give love another chance? Elrik: After the woman I thought I loved cheated on me with my brother, I swore off relationships for good. I planned to settle in Mystic Harbor and focus on my new job as an investigator at Monsters, PI. No relationships. No falling in love. But my vow is tested when I meet Melly. She's cute and funny, and I ache to back her against a wall and kiss her. After I clear her grandmother's name, do I dare claim Melly as an ice lord's bride? Contains mature themes.Voir livre

YOUNG SHERLOCK HOLMES & JOHN WATSON - The case of the stolen Pianoforte. This completely new story I have written involves the 10 year old boys who will be the great detective Sherlock Holmes and Doctor Watson, his assistant, when they grow up, this is their formative years where they perfect their skills before adulthood on what my appear to be inconsequential subjects, but the principle remains the same. This is just one of an extensive series I will be publishing as audio books in the very near future and I do hope you enjoy this first one, and its only $1.25 cents, all subsequent will remain at that price as I would not like price to be a barrier to your enjoyment. I have worked very hard and meticulously to provide you with an enjoyable experience, the initial opening credit music which does run to approximately 2 minutes sets the scene, so to speak, a violin Holme's musical instrument of choice and is energetic and the closing music ends the tale on a more restrained mode and only about 1 minute. The story itself runs to about 5 minutes 30 seconds and is of course a short story, it is read in my own voice. The story involves the the disappearance of a PianoForte piano used to teach the son, Marmaduke, the son of a wealthy industrialist called Sir Edwin Warwick who lives in a grand mansion within sight of Buckingham Palace in London in the late 1900's. Marmaduke had grown weary of piano lessons and arranged for two older boys to take it away unbeknown to his father. Needless to say Holmes solves the mystery, recovers the piano back to Sir Edwin and is handsomely rewarded and goes onto his next case. The stories are designed to be entertaining to children of between 6 to 10 years old due to the characters involved. I do hope you and you children, if applicable, enjoy this audiobook and let me know what you think, there are a lot more to come! Christopher Allen, at your serviceVoir livre

Their hosts are a popular young couple who are leasing the home for the summer—Harry and Elizabeth "Bessie" Lehr. Known for his practical jokes, Harry is the toast of parties, earning a reputation as the court jester of the Gilded Age. However, as Emma soon learns, behind closed doors he is dead serious. Following the wedding, Bessie comes to Emma for help, insisting that her husband is cruel to her in private, telling her outright he married her only for her money and finds her repulsive. Divorce is unthinkable. Now she believes he is plotting to murder her and make it look like an accident: a broken balcony railing she might have leaned on, a loose stair runner that could have sent her tumbling down a staircase, faulty brakes in the car she uses . . . Some would say being trapped in a loveless marriage is a fate worse than death. Not Bessie—she wants to live! Unsure if these situations are mere coincidences or add up to premeditated sabotage, Emma agrees to investigate and determine if Newport's merry prankster is engaged in a cold-blooded game of life or death . . .Voir livre
