Synopsis

David, a 42-year-old disabled private investigator, returns to his family's dilapidated estate in rural Estonia, a place he escaped years ago to find peace. Haunted by a traumatic childhood marked by abuse and hardship, he is compelled to confront his estranged family, including his manipulative mother, resentful brother, and a host of step-relatives all vying for control of the family's inheritance. The once-grand country house, now a symbol of decay and dysfunction, becomes the stage for a deadly game of deceit and violence. 
As David delves into the family's dark secrets, he uncovers a web of lies, betrayals, and hidden motives. Each member of his family seems to have something to hide, and the escalating conflict over the inheritance threatens to consume them all. Battling his own physical limitations and psychological scars, David must confront his past trauma and navigate the treacherous landscape of his family's twisted relationships to protect himself and uncover the truth before it's too late. The remote village, steeped in its own history of secrets and grudges, offers no easy answers, and David soon realizes that the greatest danger may come from those he trusts the most.
