Synopsis

Join Kristin in her poetic and heartfelt musings on life, parenting, and faith, told through the lens of a chronically ill and disabled mom. 
The poetry and lyrical prose featured in this chapbook provide an honest look at Kristin’s journey with Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (ME) and her growing commitment to writing as other parts of her life are stripped away by chronic illness. Inspired by one-word prompts, every piece tells a story in 240 characters or less. 
Lift the Mask reminds those of us who live with chronic illness that we aren’t alone, and that creativity can sometimes be found in our greatest struggles.
