Synopsis

“Hard Living, Easy Dying” finds Ezekial McNair, wise beyond his years, being promoted into the Confederate cavalry. He wrestles with an incompetent superior while training a company in the strategies of cavalry fighting and Yankee supply capture to keep his troops healthy and functioning. His adventures are told with humor and detail about the everyday life of a cavalry soldier in the Civil War.
