  Short stories have always been a sort of instant access into an author’s brain, their soul and heart.  A few pages can lift our lives into locations, people and experiences with a sweep of landscape, narration, feelings and emotions that is difficult to achieve elsewhere.

Born in Brighton, Sussex, she became instilled with an innate love of the Regency and Victorian periods from an early age. Visits to the Royal Pavilion, the old arcades, and five years living in a Regency terraced house all helped to colour her writing. Jill farms 83 acres with the help of a very noisy working dog called Nell and chairs a charitable trust which cares for an ancient forest park. She has written several novels and four novellas in the Iversleigh Chronicles series.
