Synopsis

Time travel, high-stakes poker and a deadly conspiracy buried in the heart of the Old West… 
  
Mick Johnson thought he was returning to Death Valley to confront his past. Instead, he’s drawn into a web of deals, cover-ups, and missing persons that could threaten the very future of the American Southwest. Twenty-five years after his brother’s tragic death, Mick is back in the desert, seeking answers.  
When Mick teams up with Rose, a determined park ranger investigating mysterious deaths in the valley, they discover a conspiracy that ties the valley’s history to a looming environmental disaster. As Mick digs deeper, he encounters legendary figures from the Old West, including Death Valley Scotty, lawman Wyatt Earp, and silent movie star, Tom Mix. But the past is more than just a memory—it’s alive, and time itself may be shifting around them. 
With the help of an enigmatic time traveler from his future, Mick must unravel the secrets of a two-headed coin, an old tattered journal, and a poker game that holds the key to a deadly conspiracy. Can he save Rose and alter the course of history before it’s too late?
