    This story is about a family of kittens living in a house in Harrow with their mother and grandad. The kittens go to school and do all the things you and I would do with your family, except that one of them gets arrested. The family has to deal with bullying, stereotyping, prejudice, panic attacks, homelessness, and abuse. Oh, and their best friend is a chihuahua.This delightful book allows children to read independently and for parents and carers to know that some life lessons are covered. The kittens overcome traumatic experiences through friendship, resilience and humour.

    The Luckiest Man Alive! by William Morrison - The man who won the contest for a perfect specimen to be named "Mister Earth" would be in a unique position!
    "Do you love me Grant?"
    "No doubt about it Baby," said Grant Hayes absently. He was tired of hearing the question, and he no longer answered it with the old fervor, but he couldn't brush it off altogether. Not yet. Not as long as he still wanted to eat.
    "You don't act as if you do."
    "You know how I feel about you, Gilda." His tone was careless, and he didn't even bother to look at her. He stared into the mirror and smirked at what he saw there. Then his eyes wandered. They caught a headline on the newspaper thrown across the table, and he went over to pick up the paper. He turned over the pages idly.
    "You haven't kissed me once in the past hour."
    Grant Hayes was no longer paying attention. He had caught a glimpse of an ad on an inner page, and he was avidly reading the details. Win Fame and Fortune! it shouted. It was almost as if the thing had been directed at him. His eyes glistened ashe read. No stupid routine work, no tiresome job without a future for a man of his talents. It was the kind of work that wasn't work at all-the kind he loved to do.

    Mars the Warning
    Book 6 of 6 – the reckoning
    This final story in the series I have written is summarized below;
    Six months after humanity's retreat from Mars, crystalline ships materialize around Earth in silent siege. Dr. Lin Mei deciphers their ultimatum: Depart the solar system or face annihilation—not as vengeance, but as cosmic stewardship. While General Drake advocates futile resistance, Lin orchestrates the Exodus, a desperate evacuation of 50 million aboard prototype starships. Billions are left behind as Earth's systems collapse under Martian-induced blackouts. The Martians dismantle orbital defenses with terrifying precision, proving resistance impossible. Lin's final message—"We understand. We will not return"—echoes into the void as humanity flees. Decades later, on distant Kepler-186f, Lin watches the first post-exodus generation play, humbled but hopeful. The Martians, having preserved Earth as a warning, vanish into cosmic silence. Humanity's reckoning ends not with extinction, but with exile—a second chance to evolve beyond conquest, under alien suns.
    I do hope you enjoy this sixth instalment, and its only $3.
    the initial opening credit music which does run to approximately 2 plus minutes sets the scene, so to speak, this is heavy metal first but give it a chance and you will be surprised (I felt the martian beings would be extremely angry over humans trying to steal their planet hence the sound) ends with a warning sound music track like an alarm, 1 minutes plus.
    The book itself runs to about 35 minutes and is narrated in my own voice.
    I do hope you enjoy this audiobook and let me know what you think, there are a lot more to come!

Clarke - A lot of glib fiction has been written about life on other planets , with space ships dropping down among alien races, zap guns decimating the enemy, while Our Hero goes batting off after a Beautiful Princess. But Mr. Clarke takes the realistic approach and gets better results than anything by the boom-boom boys.The Foxholes of Mars by Fritz Leiber - The wars of the far future will be fought with giant spaceships, but it will still take the infantryman to hold down the planets. And some of the thoughts bred in the foxholes of Mars or Alpha Centauri Duo or Rigel Tres will be fully as bitter as some of those dredged up in the foxholes of Earth.The Moonlit Road by Ambrose Bierce - A sordid tale of jealousy and murder. He suspected his wife was having an affair and unleashed a plan to discover the truth. Would the truth destroy his family and lead him down the path to insanity?
