Sinossi

The third and final volume of Kevin J. Last's books about Cotchford Farm, Hartfield, East Sussex in three different eras. Semi-Detached Suburban Mr Jones is set in the 1960s and tells the story of Brian Jones, the only middle class member of the Rolling Stones and how he came to purchase Cotchford Farm as a country retreat away from the Stones London life.
Despite the fact that he was founder of the group, Jones's increasingly wild behaviour ensured that Mick Jagger eventually became the group's leader. Harking back to his roots, Jones saw himself as a Sussex country gentleman but it all went impossibly wrong due to a vicious East End builder, Frank Thorogood, who made life hell for him with Jones eventually drowning in his own swimming pool in suspicious circumstances. How and why this happened is examined in close detail.

The others Howie, Rufus and Ed are choir members of a black Baptist Church and ask him to sit in and play guitar in their church band and also to join their high school football team. The four become inseparable and dream of attending college together. Because of existing Alabama politics and racial prejudice they quickly realize it is not going to be that easy. The boys are drafted into the army and they all end up fighting in the jungles of Vietnam, they soon learn the only color that matters is red, representing their lives and the sacrifices they will make for one another. Or maybe seriously uncreative?
Unleash your creativity in just 10 days with the Random Word Doodle method.
This audiobook will transform your grey squishy thing into a creativity powerhouse through a fun and simple method called The Random Word Doodle.
A few years back I felt super uncreative. I was doing UI and UX work. I was bored. So I began doodling random words every day—just for 10 minutes before breakfast.
It changed the trajectory of my life.
All you need is 10 minutes a day to spark your imagination and boost your creative confidence. You don’t need drawing skills. You don’t need to be a creative professional (although, it’s also great for writers, artists, and other creative pros). All you need is a pen and a piece of paper or a notebook.
If you want to increase the quality and quantity of your creations, boost the number of ideas you come up with, and sharpen your mind so you can confidently take on life’s challenges, you’re in the right place.
There are ten short chapters in the audiobook.
Each chapter includes:An explanation of a different creative benefit of doodling random words.A different doodling challenge—a slightly modified version of the core Random Word Doodle exercise.10 random words to choose from.
The book also includes additional random words and links to generate your own random words.
