Synopsis

Jun Karentia was a top player in The Sacred War, but when she finds herself in the body of one of the game's characters, she vows to guide the protagonist to victory. But everything changes when her second playthrough starts, and she's surrounded by fellspawn, doomed to perish—until Mayer Knox, the Dark Knight and game's final boss, saves her. To her shock, Mayer isn't just saving her life; he’s offering her a position as his second-in-command.
 
Accepting his offer, Jun quickly realizes that serving as Mayer’s right-hand woman is more complicated than she imagined. He becomes overly protective, making it harder for her to do her job. Meanwhile, rumors swirl about her being the Dark Knight’s lover, throwing her loyalty into question. Can she manage her new role, and what lies beneath Mayer’s complicated affection?
