Synopsis

A young treeling with a strong sense of right and wrong. A young human lost and desperate to get back to her people. 
When Ash finds Marta, a young human, cold, hungry, and lost in a strange land, she knows she can't just leave her there. But the elders refuse to help. They remember all too well how the humans once killed them without a second thought. 
Fearing that Marta will return to her people and reveal their whereabouts to the humans, a powerful elder hides the only means home. That's when Ash knows it's up to her. She must help the little girl to safety before the winter comes. It's time to show everyone how brave and strong she really is.
