Synopsis

Letting go of the past means risking it all… 
After years of living with her controlling father and brothers, Kimberly Lloyd simply wants to make her own decisions. Living in Bar Harbor, Maine, working as a paramedic is the first step to free herself from her overbearing family. She won’t let anyone take her job or new friendships from her. 
When tragedy ended his military career, Rico Montenegro fled to Mount Desert Island and found solace as a park ranger. He’s finally letting people in and forging close relationships. When his friendship with Kim seems to be turning into something more, he fears his past mistakes will keep him from moving forward. 
A series of deaths on Otter Cliffs—with victims eerily similar to Kim—leave Rico determined to safeguard his new love. But his protectiveness threatens to drive Kim away…and straight toward the killer.
