Prince Charming—With Strings Attached Billionaire playboy Jonas Halstead has exactly ninety days to marry—or be cut off from his family’s hotel dynasty. What he needs is a practical, like-minded woman who isn’t looking to be swept off her feet. Jonah’s seductive offer could save Katrina Morrison from financial ruin. But how can she be his wife in name only with desire tempting them to break the rules of their strictly hands-off arrangement? As passion complicates the journey to “I do,” will Kat lose her heart to the man she’s agreed to honor and cherish for however long their temporary marriage may last?

These are called ''' Poems from the Chinese"" and we have Mr. Waley's assurance that there are in existence Oriental originals. But if it be so (and, of course it is) then we have here a literary miracle. It is a platitude that translation of poetry is either bad verse or bad translation. But Mr. Waley, translating not merely from one language into another, but almost from one planet into another, has produced a body of living poetry, in which there is every reason to believe he re-creates, without distorting, the Chinese poets. This is an unparalleled feat. But as we are, with about six exceptions in the whole of Great Britain, incapable of comparing the English and the Chinese, we must address ourselves to these poems as though they had been written by an Englishman of the twentieth century, and judge them on that basis. It is a severe test to apply to translations, but Mr. Waley emerges from it serenely victorious. Indeed, serenity is the keynote of all this work—the serenity of assured mastery in a difficult medium but still more of outlook. The beauty with which these poems are. inlaid is fundamentally a wise beauty and the wisdom is as much in the shape of Mr. Waley's mind as in that of China. There is no need to hurry here. Wisdom goes at an even pace, and has time between her penetrations of the stars to observe the smallest things of life. Her leisurely glance sweeps over them with patient gold, and they settle, almost without a sigh, into decoration and into pattern. We have lost {and the Chinese have lost) the secret of their enamels of the great periods. But Mr. Waley has private access to them, and his poems, varnished with just that cool and even certainty of paint and texture, achieve one filial translation— the translation of colour into speech. -- Humbert Wolfe.

You can’t fly without falling, so close your eyes and let go.
People ask me if I’m human. If I have feelings. If I’ve ever loved anyone. I’m the lawyer who has never lost a case because I have nothing else to live for.
    Until Jonah.
He’s my complete opposite: a reckless boy twelve years younger than me, made of sunshine and wicked smiles, pure and breathtaking.
It all starts with a secret. He wants to find out if he’s bi, and he begs me to teach him because we’ll never see each other again.
Until he shows up on my doorstep with nowhere else to go. I can’t draw lines faster than we blur them. He’s the unstoppable force; I’m the immovable object. When we collide, things get filthy. Complicated. More beautiful than I ever could have imagined.
He’s the only person ever to learn the truth: I’ve always been human. I’ve always had feelings. I’ve been so, so afraid to lose.
Because the moment we find enough trust to jump is the moment we realize our wings might be too broken to fly.
A heartfelt, emotional story of two lonely souls searching for meaning, featuring a bi awakening, grumpy/sunshine opposites attract, an age gap, and a main character with a disability.

    “Thriller writing at its best.”
--Midwest Book Review (Any Means Necessary)
    ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

GHOST TRIGGER (Book #3) is the third book in an exhilarating new thriller series that blends mystery and action, from the #1 bestselling and USA Today bestselling author Jack Mars (with over 10,000 five-star reviews). The series begins with GHOST UNIT (Book #1).

When the FBI creates an elite team to investigate murder mysteries in military hotspots, there is only one man for the job: retiring Marine sniper Cyrus Drake. Partnered with brilliant FBI Agent Phoebe Colt, Drake must complement her investigative genius with his tactical skills—and together, they will solve mysteries and hunt down killers in the world’s most dangerous and action-packed places.

In GHOST TRIGGER (Book #3), when a decorated Army Ranger is found robbed and murdered on the outskirts of Amman, Cyrus Drake and Phoebe Colt quickly discover the killing had nothing to do with his wallet — and everything to do with a secret that could unleash terror on Western targets. Racing into the Syrian borderlands alongside Jordanian special forces, they must dismantle the operation before any strikes can be launched — and expose the well-connected financier pulling the strings.

The Cyrus Drake combines the best of a murder mystery series with the best of a military action thriller, delivering relentless action and sharp tension from the first shot fired to the final, stunning reveal. It is a series that won’t allow you to catch your breath until the last page. Perfect for fans of Brad Thor, Lee Child, and James Patterson.

Future books in the series are also available!

“Thriller enthusiasts who relish the precise execution of an international thriller, but who seek the psychological depth and believability of a protagonist who simultaneously fields professional and personal life challenges, will find this a gripping story that's hard to put down.”
--Midwest Book Review, Diane Donovan (regarding Any Means Necessary)
    ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

“One of the best thrillers I have read this year. The plot is intelligent and will keep you hooked from the beginning. The author did a superb job creating a set of characters who are fully developed and very much enjoyable. I can hardly wait for the sequel.”
